I received my Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. I was a Liberal Studies Major, with a Specialization in the Sciences. After graduation I traveled and lived in Japan where I worked with children on a military base. When I returned to San Diego in the fall, I started graduate school at Azusa Pacific University, attending classes at their San Diego campus. I have a Multiple Subject Credential, with Supplementary Subject Matter Authorizations in Science, English, and Computer Concepts and Applications from APU. I also have my Master’s degree in Education from APU, with an emphasis in educational technology. I love the idea of an interactive classroom.

I believe that each and every child can and will make a significant contribution to the world. I value the importance of student choice and foster cooperative learning groups. I promote the acquisition of life-long learning skills. Education is something that I find enjoyable and beneficial and I want to bring that joy to my students. When I’m not at school I enjoy camping, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
