Our Mission

Our motto, “An Educational Gold Mine”, reflects our goal to provide learning opportunities for the home school and independent study families that they could not create for themselves or find elsewhere.  To further that goal, Gold Rush has joined the A Plus Organization, which is a group of charter schools providing Personalized Learning.  Personalized Learning is a hybrid of Home School (where the parent is the instructor) and the traditional classroom (where the students attend daily classes and are taught by a credentialed instructor).  We offer classes in most K-12 subjects, but the student is not in the classroom all day, every day.  We believe that this mixed approach provides the best of both worlds, parental oversight with strong professional instructor support.
