Offering classes that include theatre dance, voice, acting, script writing, stage combat, clownology, juggling, sound effects, improve, creative drama, directing and storytelling.
ACT ONE: This session usually runs for eight weeks and is a general introduction to all types of basic skills a young thespian (theatre person) might need. This class will have a small performance for parents to see what's been learned.
ACT TWO: This session will go much longer and will usually include some type of community, large scale performance.
Ages 5-18
5-7 year-olds - this group usually meets once a week. They can concentrate and have fun for about 90 minutes. The class has singing and theatre dance. They dabble in acting out parts from different stories and they are introduced to storytelling, juggling and sound effects.
8-12 year-olds - depending on class size this group could be divided into ages 8-9 and 10-12. This class meets twice a week for 2 hours each day. Each week they have their core classes: acting, singing and theatre dance.
13-18 year-olds - the "youth" group meets 2 days a week for 2 hours. They have core classes: acting, singing and theatre dance.
